An important and internationally recognized company is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer, trained to:
• Advise and follow best practices, ensure cloud environments are configured to meet compliance requirements and prevent the latest security threats, and the continuous vigilance needed to protect against advanced attacks from around the world

•This Senior professional will be responsible for securing all of our cloud environments, including developing, implementing and managing our cloud security posture using Check Point CloudGuard. This role involves working closely with our IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure applications, workloads and networks are protected across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities:
• Design and implement security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems
• Responsible for the secure configuration and integration of Check Point CloudGuard into our cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes
• Perform security assessments of cloud architectures and environments using Check Point CloudGuard to identify and mitigate potential security gaps
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of information assets and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline
• Manage cloud security posture by continuously monitoring and reporting on cloud environments to prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats
• Support incident response activities for cloud environments, including investigation and remediation of security breaches
• Keep abreast of the latest cloud security threats, technologies, and trends to advise and educate our team on security best practices

Role requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience working with cloud security posture management tools, including extensive experience with Check Point CloudGuard
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and workflows across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Kubernetes).
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good to have:
• Certifications such as CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
