We are now seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sportsbook Operations Specialist to enhance our operations and support our growing client base during our night shift hours. Job Description: The Sportsbook Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing essential functions to ensure smooth betting operations during the night shift. This role requires an individual with analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of sports, and exceptional written communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sportsbook operations and a commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Bet Settlement: - Settle bets that do not automatically settle due to system discrepancies. - Re-assess and re-settle bets when automated processes deliver incorrect results, following thorough online investigations and evidence gathering. - Client Interaction: - Provide clear, professional, and timely responses (within a maximum of one minute) over live chat with exceptional written English skills. - Evaluate and determine when a player qualifies as a “sharp bettor” based on client requests. - Technical Coordination: - Connect video streams with live sporting events when automatic matching fails, ensuring seamless integration of visual data. Shift Details: - Schedule: Night shift, 10 PM – 6 AM, 6 days per week. - This position is ideal for candidates who excel in a nocturnal work environment and are comfortable with overnight responsibilities. Qualifications: - Essential: - Strong knowledge of sports and the sports betting landscape. - Exceptional written communication skills, with proven experience handling live chat interactions. - Ability to conduct detailed online research and evidence gathering to resolve discrepancies. - Preferred: - Previous experience working in a sportsbook or related betting environment. - Familiarity with betting settlement systems and automated matching technologies. - Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
