Role:Role: MuleSoft Developer
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Costa Rica

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer with strong expertise in Mule 4.x, API-led integrations, and Salesforce integration experience.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. MuleSoft Development:
Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Create and maintain APIs, integrations, and workflows using Mule 4.x.
Develop and manage RAML/OpenAPI specifications for RESTful APIs.
Implement DataWeave transformations for complex data mappings.
Ensure integrations meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability standards.
Build reusable integration components following API-led connectivity architecture.
2. API Integrations:
Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs for real-time system-to-system communication.
Implement API policies such as security, throttling, rate limiting, logging, and monitoring within the Anypoint Platform.
Work closely with Salesforce teams to enable seamless integrations between MuleSoft and Salesforce CRM.
Monitor API performance and ensure robust error handling, fault tolerance, and resiliency.
3. Monitoring & Support:
Monitor integration pipelines using MuleSoft Anypoint Monitoring tools.
Handle incident management, including root cause analysis, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
Maintain detailed documentation of integrations, APIs, workflows, and data models.
Provide operational support for deployed APIs and integrations in production.
Required Skills & Experience:
MuleSoft Expertise:
8+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Strong experience developing APIs using Mule 4.x, RAML, and DataWeave.
Solid understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices, and integration architecture.
Hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, Exchange, API Manager.
Experience with MUnit test cases, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Salesforce Integration:
Strong experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
Knowledge of Salesforce objects, data models, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience in data sync, event-based integration, and orchestration workflows between MuleSoft and Salesforce.
Technical Skills:
Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT and security standards.
Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and release management.
Good to Have:
MuleSoft Developer / Integration Architect certifications.
Experience with other integration tools or middleware.
Knowledge of SQL, cloud integration patterns, and containerization.
