We are seeking a skilled and creative chef to join our team. The chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for the family and retreats.The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
*Create and develop menus that include healthy cuisine & vegetarian cuisine.
*Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures when the the retreats take place.
*Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations.
*Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
*Ensure consistent quality of food presentation and taste.
*Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
*5 years of proven experience as a chef, with a solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and techniques.
*Culinary degree.
*Trained in cooking healthy cuisine, vegetarian cuisine
*Knowledge about healthy salads , curries, and soups as well as be open to cooking meat when needed.
*Ayurveda knowledge is a plus.**
Schedule – Monday-Friday -8am-6pm
